The Winner of Joyfully Home!

Thank you for participating in our Tuesday’s Treasure!  Not too many this week.  Is that because a lot of you already own this book?  You can still enter!  I love to have two copies of good books.  One to have in our library…and one to loan.  Loaning out treasures is a pleasure!  Just think of all that goodness increasing its influence in exponential ways!

I just heard a testimony this week from one of the attenders of our Visionary Womanhood group in the Twin Cities.  Three years ago her husband had a vasectomy.  A few months later she began attending the Visionary Womanhood group and checking out some resources from our library.  God began to turn her heart toward the idea of having more children (they already had 5), but her husband was not too keen on the idea.  Over time, however, God began to do a work in his heart as well, and one month ago he had a reversal.  They are now praying that God would bless their family with more children!  Isn’t that amazing?  I’ve never had a conversation with her on this matter.  I feel it is a personal decision between a couple and God, although I have my own convictions in this area.  BUT…God was able to do HIS work in her life just by making available to her RESOURCES that presented the beauty of children and the potential that children present for the growth of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.

Such a simple thing…this sharing of the resources that God gives to us.  Yet God always manages to take loaves and fish…and create things that last for eternity.  Isn’t He amazing?

You are wondering who won the book this week!?  It is…

Jess!

And she’s a sweet and super funny friend of mine…(I just love to laugh…don’t you?) so I’m excited to be able to give her this book!  Woo Hoo Jess! : )

I hope you’ll all come back on Tuesday for some more treasure!!

Wow! Sweet and super funny?? I feel bad that I have succeeded in deceiving you! ;) But I have to say, to be counted your friend is a great gift. Even better than the book, which I’m thoroughly enjoying. You missed the show when I found out I won, btw. :D
