Great Easter Resource

Last year shortly after Easter I learned about a book with a CD called Passion Hymns for a Kid’s Heart. I wrote it down and put it where I would find it for this year…and a few weeks ago I ordered it. I LOVE IT! It has 12 timeless hymns about the cross and resurrection of Christ…the hymns are all on the CD and are magnificently done! Then the book has a devotional for each hymn that ties it in with the Easter story…great pictures and stories AND each hymn with all the verses…including the piano part. We did not have time to go through the devotional for every hymn, but we sang the hymns during family worship and I played the CD through out the day this past couple of weeks. This morning Katie (3) was taking a bath, and I could hear her singing “AT the Cross, at the cross” at the top of her lungs with great gusto! I laughed AND my heart was warmed knowing that our children are learning some of the great hymns of the faith that celebrate our King’s death, resurrection and reign!

Have a blessed Resurrection Sunday!
