Thinking Outside the Box When Planning a Wedding

The Botkin family is notorious for taking every single aspect of life…and rethinking it through the lens of Scripture.  While I’m certain they are not perfect, it is hard to argue with the fact that they are visionary to the max.  I love to see what they will do next because it is always refreshing, jaw-dropping and eye-opening.

Take, for instance, their most recent exploit: the wedding of their son, David.  After a six week engagement (think that one through…pretty wise when you consider the temptations to impurity during the engagement period), recommended by Calvin himself, David and Nadia were married in a wedding that was completely thought through with purposeful intentionality.

Rather than resorting to the “default” mode of whatever the current culture dictates, this family has taken their freedom to think, reason, and study all of life from the highest vantage point, God’s, and discovered some amazing applications…and their subsequent blessings.

I encourage you to go HERE and feast your eyes and heart on a very different wedding from anything you’ve ever experienced.

Who knows?  It could change your life…

What a beautiful wedding and witness! The one thing that I actually regretted about my wedding was all the planning. I remember feeling like I was constantly struggling not to lose sight of Christ in all the details. This couple looks so happy and it just looks like a really blessed day.
