True Women Don’t Nurse

A year and a half ago I was hoping to take a few of the women from our Visionary Womanhood group to the True Woman Conference; however, upon finding out that nursing babies were not welcome, that left most of us in the dust. (Yes, I know, it’s got a hint of irony that you can hold a conference called “True Woman” and leave out all the nursing mothers.)

I was disappointed…and I guess somewhat miffed.

Nevertheless, if you ARE a nursing mother…or a woman who wasn’t able to go to the conference for some other reason, you can listen to the teachings for FREE online. Go HERE for the downloads.

That helps…a little.

Wow…did they give a reason for not welcoming women at all stages? I am glad you posted a link though. I would have liked to attended the one coming up in Chattanooga, but can't afford it at this time, so being able to hear some of it online is a good thing for me as well :) Thank you!

I think their main reason was so that the babies would not distract the other women attending. I can understand that…from a secular standpoint. But not really from a "kingdom-minded" standpoint. It is their conference…so it is their call. But I must say that it is not very "visionary" in my book. "My book" isn't what counts though. God's is. I suppose we will all see what He thinks about it someday. :)
