You Can Do It Too! 25 Homeschooling Families Share Their Stories

What could be more appropriate during our month’s focus on home education, than a brand new eBook about it?

Introducing You Can Do It Too: 25 Homeschool Families Share Their Stories.  You might recognize some of the women (oh wait…there’s a guy in there too!) who contributed to this project.  (Hint: three of them are regular writers for Visionary Womanhood.)

So what’s nifty about this book?  Within its whopping 253 pages, 25 Wemmicks answer a bazillion questions about home education, and you get to read them.  Each Wemmick comes at it from a different angle, so you’ll find lots of opinions, life circumstances, and philosophies of education and parenting.

This eBook would be especially helpful to someone considering home education for the first time and wondering if it’s a realistic option for them.  Have you ever met anyone like that?  Sending them a downloadable copy might be just the ticket to nudge them in that direction!  OR…if you’re just starting out and needing some encouragement to keep going, this is a terrific little “pick-me-upper” to help you realize that you are not alone.

Here’s what the publisher of The Old Schoolhouse Magazine has to say:

Ever wondered what it is really like to homeschool? Twenty-six families share the good, the bad, and the not-so-pretty things that can make up a homeschool lifestyle. Grab a cup of coffee and “chat” with these homeschool moms as you read the pages of this book. If you’re looking for picture perfect, you won’t find that here. What you will find are homeschool moms who honestly share the ups and downs of the homeschool life. Discover their joys, experiences, concerns, and why they don’t quit. Whether you’re a newbie, a veteran homeschooler, or somewhere in between, you’ll enjoy these candid looks at homeschooling.
