7 FREE Mission Ideas for Homeschooling

The Great Commission is not an option to consider;
it is a command to be obeyed. –Hudson Taylor, missionary to China

For this month’s Visionary Womanhood theme of practical homeschooling ideas, I want to share some ideas (all currently FREE) to incorporate a heart for world missions into your homeschooling. Instilling a vision for God’s Great Commission (Matthew 16:15, Mark 15:16) is not an “extra” subject to tack-on to our education. Having a heart to reach the lost with the Gospel of Jesus Christ should be a focus of our lives and a foundation for our homeschooling.

We won’t all be called to international missionary service (although some, like our family, definitely are . . . and perhaps some of your children will be too!) but we’re all called to love God and to love others. We’re all called to expand God’s kingdom in our own sphere of influence . . . and beyond!

This generation can only reach this generation.
–David Livingstone, missionary to Africa

    These are absolutely wonderful resources and we will begin using them as a family and for our homeschool. I did have a problem downloading #6 for the small group. We would love to use this for our small group but when I clicked on add to cart..it did nothing! Thank you so much for letting all of us used these resources for free. They are invaluable and can be used for every part of our lives. I am off to order the books now! Thanks again! Have a blessed day!

      Karen — so sorry about this little glitch.

      We’ve been making some changes on our ministry website, and in the process of editing that particular page, the proper links must have been disconnected.

      I just fixed our shopping cart buttons and tried it myself. The FREE download of our group study guide for Mission-Minded Families worked for me and hopefully it should work for you too. Give it a try and let me know if everything is okay.

      Blessings to you!
