Bi-Weekly WOW Links: Christmas Traditions, Weary Mothers, and Clutter Control

  • Ever feel like throwing in the towel?  Wouldn’t it be liberating to just holler with reckless abandon, “I QUIT!”  And then go off and do what you FEEL like doing?  Woo Hoo!  (Sounds a little like your five year old, doesn’t it?)  Yet, that is what every single one of us is tempted to do periodically. We need big doses of VISION to stay the course…and we also need encouragement from one another as we fulfill our God-given responsibilities to raise the next generation of God-Worshipers.   I just LOVED what Bambi, over at In the Nursery of the Nation had to share on this subject.  (She’s such a lovely, gentle writer…)
  • If you are sick to death of all your STUFF…and need some motivation to do some serious PURGING…then you’ll want to read about all the FUN Stephanie had last week at Keeper of the Home.  This is a timely post in light of the fact that most of us will not be subtracting from our stash of junk…but adding to it before the end of the month.  I plan to take a couple of days after Christmas to be a copy cat and de-stash my own home.  Anyone wanna join me?
  • And finally, get in the Christmas spirit this December by heading over to Sharing the Journey for 25 Days of Christmas Traditions!  You’ll get to read about a different tradition each day…all from various bloggers around the nation.  (I’ll be sharing all my favorite meaningful children’s Christmas picture books on one of those days!)

That’s it for this week’s WOW!  Have a blessed week end!
