Beautiful and Modest

More Than Rules 3D

By Natalie, Editress of Visionary Womanhood

A couple of years ago I “met” Bambi Moore online, and we hit it off immediately. There was a connection of spirits there that is hard to explain, but it has translated into a long term friendship that has even turned into a “real life” friendship—we met in person this past February down in Texas.

I love the way Bambi communicates. She has a gift for speaking hard things in kind and generous ways. She is a soft-hearted truth-lover. When I grow up, I hope I am like her.

Because of this, it is a real pleasure to tell you that she has put together her first eBook, More Than Rules: Exploring the Heart of Beauty and Modesty.

This little book is a real gem because Bambi doesn’t just lay down her own subjective “rules” about modesty. She doesn’t approach this issue as if she has arrived at all the answers and is going to piously pass them along to you. She writes about some of the nuances of this topic through the lens of God’s Word.

She addresses what God addresses: your heart.

If you’ve been reading this blog for very long, you’ve noticed that I have a thing for swinging pendulums. I even wrote about the serious swinging we do on this subject of modesty. We try to recognize when we are swinging and temper it with the Word of God which is always healthy and balanced. I can safely recommend Bambi’s book as a balanced resource on this subject. Read it with your daughters. You’ll have much to discuss.

Here’s a run down of the chapters:
